It all started with a dream…

    *  A dream in high school to be in fashion- a fashion designer or merchandiser

    *  A dream while in corporate america to be a fashion designer or merchandiser

Little did I know that God knew His plans for me to be a designer, but on His timeline, not mine!  I can remember being a little girl and putting together my outfits.  Some were quiet cute and others were just simply artisticly wild & carefree.  I wish I had one of the pictures that I remember- lots of layers with crazy cowboy boots.  I also remember playing “boutique” and hanging outfits all over my room and assiting shoppers make their purchases or the call in orders from my mom’s Bloomingdales catalog- oh what fun!  Oh what an imagination I had- the joys of being an only child!

But those play moments stirred dreams…

Then last year God used a Swedish home decor magazine to stir the biggest dream of all.  The vision of a glass button as a ring- how beautfiul and delicate to be cherished by the world.

    *  My next dream would be to have my merchandise (Dee Dee Style) in Laurie Anna’s Vintage Home.

Dreams really do come true!  I did a 3 day trunk show at Laurie Anna’s this past week.  It was over the top fabulous!  She is one of the most amazing creative sweet ladies I have been blessed to know in my life.

But the dreams continue to grow and get BIGGER.  I am blessed to meet so many wonderful ladies along the way on this path.  One of those being, Miss Daphne Nicole.   I read about her on Laurie Anna’s blog.  I spotted her in a shop on the Athens square and felt like I had run into a celebrity.  She would giggle at this.  We had the chance to hang out while I did the trunk show and discovered that we are two peas in a pod.  I couldn’t be happier to have her as a pea pod buddy!
